The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service says on Saturday around 2pm, firefighters responded to the blaze at 10540 Halstead Cres. Fire officials say the blaze started in an attached garage.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is undetermined, but it's not believed to have been suspicious. Damage is estimated at around $150,000.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
