Students Record New National Anthem

Students from Hetherington Public School in Riverside will be featured in a recording of O Canada.

A recording and film crews hired by Heritage Canada visited the school this week to record the students.

Principal Jackie Connelly says they're one of 80 schools chosen. "They've asked a number of schools across the country to sing a version of O Canada and they are going to be putting that all together to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the flag."

Part of the project also saw one student interviewed about Windsor, which will be used in a short documentary.
