Pupatello Loses Hydro One Chair

Windsor's economic development CEO Sandra Pupatello has lost her job as chair of Hydro One's board.

The decision comes after Ontario's premier announced a gradual sale of 60% of Hydro One.

David Denison takes over the position starting today. Dension has served as president and CEO of the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

In addition to Pupatello's departure, a new board will also be in place by this summer. Pupatello will continue to serve as a director on the board, assisting with Hydro One's transition into becoming a publicly traded company.

In the past, Windsor Councillor Hilary Payne has publicly questioned how Pupatello can be the region's full-time economic development CEO while having three other jobs.
