UPDATE: Kitchen Fire In Multi-Unit Home

Damage is pegged at around $2,000 following a kitchen fire in a Windsor home.

The incident occurred around 12:30pm at a multi-unit building in the 400-block of Langlois Ave.

Fire officials say it started in the kitchen of one of the lower-level units after a pot was left unattended on a stove.

There were no injuries during the fire and no one has been displaced.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
