Pot Smokers Celebrate 4-20

April 20 is a special day for those who smoke marijuana. They call it 4-20.

In cities across Canada, pot smokers will meet in public places where they'll lite up to protest the prohibition against marijuana.

While it may be a special day for those who imbibe, it's not for Windsor police. Constable Andrew Drouillard says if you're caught, there are consequences. "It is still illegal to possess marijuana," he says. "So, we'll have to enforce the criminal code accordingly."

At Pete's Pipes in downtown Windsor, Phil Porat says he has a flyer advertising a small gathering at City Hall Square between 1pm and 7pm.
