Bank Robbery Suspect Photo Released

The search is on for a man who held up the CIBC Bank branch at 1550 Huron Church Rd. Thursday.

Windsor police say the suspect walked into the bank with a tissue covering his face around 3:30pm. He handed the teller a note demanding money and that he had a gun although the teller didn't see a weapon. Once he got a small amount of money, he left the building.

The suspect is a white man in his early 20s, between 5'9" and 6'1". He was wearing a grey "Georgetown 1789" hooded sweatshirt and dark-coloured pants. He had a white "skull cap" under his hood.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
