UPDATE: Car Crashes Into Laundromat

One person has been injured and another is facing charges after a car crashed into a Windsor laundromat and burst into flames.

On Friday just before 11pm, fire crews were called to the scene at the corner of Campbell Ave. and College Ave.

The Windsor Police Service says the male driver of the vehicle fled the scene following the crash, but was later arrested. A female passenger was injured in the crash and had to be transported to hospital. Her injuries are non-life threatening.

Police say the male driver is facing charges of dangerous driving and failing to remain at the scene of a collision.
