Express Drop Game 5

The Windsor Express fell 125-91 to the Halifax Rainmen in Game 5 of the NBL Canada Finals.

On Sunday, the Rainmen took a four point lead at the end of the first quarter and increased their advantage to 59-46 at halftime. Halifax held their lead in the third quarter and then pummeled the Express in the final frame to win by 34 points.

The Rainmen now lead the series 3-2.

Kirk Williams Jr led Windsor in scoring with 20 points, while Tony Bennett had 18.

The Express will now return to Windsor for Game 6 on Tuesday at 7pm at the WFCU Centre.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
