Five Americans are facing weapon-related charges and fines after allegedly trying to bring illegal firearms into Canada.
The Canada Border Service Agency made three discoveries of weapons in vehicles crossing at the Ambassador Bridge, and one at the tunnel, in March.
Pistols and other weapons, in some cases fully loaded, were discovered under or around the driver seats of the vehicles.
The five individuals facing charges are residents of Alabama, Colorado and Michigan.
More than 100 drug seizures, ten firearms seizures and one child pornography seizure were made at Ontario border crossing during the month of March.
