Police Seize $34K In Drugs

Windsor police have arrested an alleged drug dealer from Toronto, seizing $34,000 in drugs.

Police say the 30-year-old man was seen leaving a motel room in the 3700-block of Walker Rd. and entering a nearby cab. The Drug Enforcement Branch was in the middle of a trafficking investigation.

Just after 6pm Tuesday, police stopped the vehicle and found $27,000 worth of crack cocaine, $6,800 in powder cocaine and a small amount of marijuana. Police also seized $2,000 in cash.

The Toronto man has been charged with possession of crack cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marijuana.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
