Mental Health Events Raise Awareness

It's Mental Health Week, and the Canadian Mental Health Association is holding a number of events to raise awareness.

While the City of Windsor has proclaimed May Mental Health Awareness Month, Swiss Chalet and Antonino's Pizza are donating a portion of their sales to support programs.

Today, there's a display at Devonshire Mall.

In Chatham-Kent, the St.Clair Catholic District School Board has provided classrooms with kits filled with activities to promote conversation and awareness at schools.

Building on last year's campaign encouraging people to speak openly and honestly about their mental health, this year's campaign focuses on better awareness of men and boys' mental health.
