The man in the images allegedly threatened the clerk early Saturday morning with an undisclosed weapon and made off with some cash.
He's white, roughly 6' tall with a medium build. He wore a mask on his face and a dark hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head.
Police also believe the man is right handed.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
