Update: Firefighters Battle Two Windsor Fires

Two people are in hospital with smoke inhalation after two separate overnight fires; one considered suspicious in Windsor.

Investigators say overloaded electrical components sparked flames in an apartment on the fifth floor of an apartment building in the 9000-block of Riverside Dr. E just before 3am Wednesday.  It caused $400,000 damage including $250,000 in structure damage.

Around midnight, firefighters were called to what Windsor police call a suspicious fire at 567 Church St.  No one was hurt, but it caused $110,000 damage and displaced three residents.

The cause of that fire is still under investigation.
