Grease Fire Displaces Four

Four people are displaced after a grease fire broke out in a Windsor home.

The Windsor Fire and Rescue Service says on Sunday around 2pm, firefighters responded to the fire that started in kitchen at 1149 Abbey Crt.

Fire officials say one person suffered a minor injury in the fire but did not receive medical treatment.

The Red Cross will be attending the scene to help the displaced residents.

Damage is estimated at around $10,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
