Arrest Warrants After Woman Assaulted

Police are processing arrest warrants for two women wanted after a person suffered cuts to her eye and face.

Windsor police say the 56-year-old victim was assaulted by a 40-year-old woman inside a home in the 400-block of Newbury St. Sunday night.

When she fled the home, she was assaulted again outside by a 37-year-old woman.

She was treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries to her face.

Both suspects are known to the victim, and police are about to issue warrants for their arrest.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
