Serial Thief In Police Custody

Windsor police have arrested who they believe to be a serial shoplifter.

At about 9:20pm Sunday, officers responded to a call at the Shoppers Drug Mart in the 3900-block of Dougall Ave.

A 31-year-old suspect supposedly took 18 packages of chocolate bars, and tried to leave the store without making any attempt to pay a cashier.

Investigators believe this suspect is the same man accused of stealing from Factory Direct back in April. He's being charged with both thefts.
