Large Crowds Expected At Market

The Walkerville Night Market is set to open with 30 vendors spread across the Willistead and Gourmet Emporium parking lots.

Organizer Teanna Lindsay says this year's market is bigger than last year's inaugural run. "There will be various vendors, from arts and crafts to produce to activities going on. We have a kid's corner. It'll be an area where kids can get their face painted or participate in a craft on-site."

With the weather expected to stay warm and dry this evening, Lindsay expects large crowds.

The market runs on the last Friday of every month from 5pm-10pm, ending in September.
