Officials say the outage started just after midnight Sunday, and affected customers north of Memorial Dr. from Dufferin to Langlois.
Crews found the defective transformer in the 700-block of Memorial Dr.
Power has been mostly restored in the area, however EnWin says there may be isolated homes still temporarily left in the dark.
