Assault In Hotel Injures One

Two teens are charged with assault causing bodily harm after a man was allegedly beaten by several people near a hotel elevator.

Police were called to the Days Inn on Goyeau St. early yesterday morning after hotel staff saw someone being beaten on cameras. Officers say a person was standing near the elevator when they were punched and kicked by several men.

Police were able to locate the 19-year-old victim, who lost two teeth and suffered a broken orbital bone. He was taken to hospital by EMS for treatment.

Viewing the video, police were able to identify two suspects and arrested a 19-year-old and 17-year-old. The investigation continues.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
