Attempted Robbery, Stabbing Update

More details are available surrounding a stabbing in Windsor last night.

Police say a 43-year-old man was leaving a convenience store around 5pm yesterday on Howard Ave. when he was allegedly approached by two men who demanded his wallet.

He told police he was punched and kicked several times, but didn't realize until later he had been stabbed. He went to the hospital on his own for treatment.

The victim provided very vague descriptions of the suspects and now isn't cooperating with police.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
