Photo Of Murder Victim's Jacket Released

Police have released a photo of a jacket that homicide victim Amir Hayat Malik was seen wearing prior to his death.

The Windsor Police Service says the 32-year-old was last seen alive wearing the jacket (pictured above) just after midnight on June 4.

Two electricians discovered Malik’s body near an alley in the 500-block of Brant St. Thursday morning. Police say he was found without a shirt and had suffered obvious trauma to his body.

Anyone with information regarding the homicide or the outstanding jacket is asked to call police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4830 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS).
