Explicit Chats Lead To Luring Charge

Windsor police have charged a man with child luring after he attended a school looking to meet with a student.

Police say a person at a local school called them April 21 after the 62-year-old went to the school looking for the student.

Officers with the Internet Exploitation Unit found the man had met the student through an online chat.

Police reviewed message logs and say they were sometimes explicit in nature and involved elements of luring.

The man was arrested on Monday and charged with luring a child under the age of 16.
