Tentative Contract For Oakley Workers

When unionized workers at Oakley Tire Sub Assembly meet this Saturday, they'll vote on a tentative agreement reached with Unifor Local 444.

The meeting is at 11:30am at the Unifor Local 444/200 Hall on Turner Rd. in Windsor. The union will release details of the agreement at that time.

Oakley is the third auto parts manufacturer that supplies the Windsor Assembly Plant to reach an agreement with the union. Workers at TRW Automotive ratified their agreement last weekend and at Dakkota Integrated Systems, workers also vote Saturday.

Talks with HPBO on monetary issues are expected to start next week.
