Fatal Hit And Run Victim Identified

Police have now identified the victim of a fatal hit and run collision in LaSalle.

The LaSalle Police Service says Kevin Emisch, 38, of Windsor, was hit by a mid to full-sized SUV around 9:45pm on Huron St., near Matchette Rd. on Thursday.

Emisch was taken to hospital where he died of  his injuries.

Police say the suspect's vehicle may have damage to the front end or undercarriage.  A video has also been released that possibly shows the suspect vehicle. The video can be viewed by clicking here.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
