Video Catches Downtown Sucker Punch (VIDEO)

Windsor police are looking for tips after a man was caught on video punching another man in the face at the Downtown Mission in the 600-block of Victoria Ave. last month.

A 51-year-old man was sent to hospital for a laceration to his upper lip.

According to police, witnesses say just before 12:30pm on May 27, a woman demanded everyone in the picnic area at the Downtown Mission empty their pockets because she was missing her phone.

The victim allegedly told her to check the surveillance video. Shortly after, he was knocked to the ground by a punch.
