Teen Charged In Fatal Crash

Windsor police are charging a Tecumseh teen with failing to remain at the scene of a deadly crash earlier this month.

On June 17 around 12:50pm, officers were called to a crash involving a cyclist at Parent Ave. and Tecumseh Rd. in Windsor.

Police say a northbound Chevrolet pick-up truck making a right turn hit a cyclist crossing Parent Ave. on Tecumseh Rd. The 58-year-old man on the bike later died in hospital.

Justin Revel, 18, is charged.

Police are still looking for more witnesses to speak to regarding the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Windsor Police Service at 519-255-6700 x4211 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477 (TIPS). Tips are also accepted through Facebook.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
