Kingsville Begins CAO Search

Kingsville council is being asked to take one of the first steps in their search for a new CAO.

A detailed job description has been drawn up for councils approval tonight.

Mayor Nelson Santos says the duties of the CAO will be changing. "With the addition of our new Human Resource and Office Manager, that will take away some of the existing responsibilities that the CAO has entirely."

The description includes a salary range between $114,000 and $142,000.

Current CAO Dan DiGiovanni has officially retired from the town, however continues to work on contract until a new CAO is hired.

A committee will be formed to of councillors and administration from other towns to lead the search. They hope to have a new CAO in place by October.
