UPDATE: Gas Leak Causes Evacuation Of Homes

Residents on Pine and Church streets have returned to their homes following a natural gas leak.

The Windsor Fire Rescue Service says on Friday around 7:30pm, fire crews discovered the gas leak coming from a home located at 416 Pine St.

Fire officials say the leak has been isolated to the one residence and it is being vented.

Homes in the 400-block of Pine St. and the 1000-block of Church St. were evacuated as a safety precaution. The residents were able to return home around 10pm.
