WEEDC Finds Interim CEO

This region's development corporation has a new CEO after Sandra Pupatello's dramatic departure last month.

Current COO of the WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation Rakesh Naidu is stepping in as interim CEO until a permanent one is found.

Naidu has been with the corporation for eight years.

"I am pleased to accept the role of interim CEO and thank the board for giving me this opportunity. Together with the capable employees of the organization we will continue to achieve the goals and objectives as set out for 2015," Naidu says.

Pupatello's last day was July 31.
