Housing Sales Up For Seventh Straight Month

The Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors says it had another good month in July as sales increased for the seventh consecutive month this year.

Sales last month increased 4.15% over July 2014 with 628 homes changing ownership, and rose 16.53% so far this year.

Overall market activity has risen 3.35% in 2015.

The average price of a home in July was $206,201 compared to $202,971 last July, an increase of 1.59%. The year-to-date figures suggest a 3.81% this year.

South Windsor saw the highest number of sales while in the county, the most homes sold in LaSalle.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
