Windsor Police Cruiser Hit

The Windsor Police Service is investigating after one of its own cruisers was involved in a collision.

It happened at the intersection of Ouellette Ave. and Giles Blvd.

Police are investigating and can't say at this point who appears to be at fault. Police also won't say if the cruiser had its emergency lights on at the time.

A blue pickup truck struck the passenger side of the cruiser.

The truck driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the officer appears to be fine.
