Police closed the parkway along with the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 eastbound at Cabana Rd. W around 2:30pm on Friday.
The OPP reported that the roadway was reopened around 7:20pm.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
