Ken also served as Middlesex Centre Municipal Councillor for four years.

An active volunteer, Ken is the former chairperson of the Middlesex Group Police Services Board, and currently serves as vice-chairperson on the board of Middlesex Mutual Insurance Co., Vice-President of the Optimist club of Bryanston-Birr and continues to volunteer as past President of the Ilderton Agricultural Society – a local charitable organization which promotes the celebration of agriculture achievements, creative arts and the rural community through the Ilderton Fall Fair.

Born and raised on his family’s farm north of London, Ken is a graduate of the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program from the Centre for Rural Leadership and understands the unique needs of rural families.

Ken lives in Birr with wife and their four daughters, and enjoys playing hockey, slo-pitch, reading and spending time with his girls. --- Interesting riding facts:

  • Lambton-Kent-Middlesex was created in 1996 from the old Kent and Lambton-Middlesex ridings
  • Liberals held the seat from 1997-2006, but Conservative Bev Shipley has been elected since then

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
