Tree Falls On Windsor Firefighter

A Windsor firefighter is recovering from a broken foot after a large tree fell on him early this morning.

It happened when fire crews were responding to a call on Felix Ave. A massive tree fell on a home during yesterday's storm.

Fire officials say he's "very lucky" the injuries aren't more serious.

Yesterday's storm also sparked a fire after lightning struck a gas line on Belleperche Pl.

The wild weather also caused many power outages in the area, with lightning lasting for several hours.
