Stabbing In Downtown Windsor

Police are still trying to piece together what led to a stabbing in the heart of downtown Windsor.

Around 2:30am Sunday morning, police responded to the area of Ouellette Ave. and University Ave. to find a man with apparent stab wounds.

He was transported to hospital, where he remains with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the man has been uncooperative with officers.

Officers were able to get a vague description of the suspect from witnesses in the area, but have no concrete leads as of yet.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
