Windsor-Essex Labour Day Closures

The Labour Day holiday brings with it a number of programming adjustments for the City of Windsor and Essex County.

Windsor-Essex's 211 call centre will still be running, but the 311 service will not be offered on Labour Day. Garbage collection in the City of Windsor will be delayed by one day this week.

Community and customer care centres will be closed. However, outdoor pools as well as the Windsor International Aquatic and Training Centre will be open with reduced hours. Library branches are not open on Labour Day, and there will be no parking enforcement on Monday.

In nearby Tecumseh, Town Hall, as well as the Tecumseh Arena and St. Clair Beach Optimist Centre are all closed. Tecumseh Transit will also not be operational on Monday. There will be no changes to garbage and recycling collection.

Over in Leamington, the municipal office will also be closed. The Leamington District Memorial Hospital is still open and operational, but the facility's cafeteria is closed.
