Charges After Tractor Trailer Rollover

OPP expect to lay charges after a tractor trailer rolled over on Highway 3, forcing it to close west of Walker Rd.

Police say the transport, loaded with 75,000lbs of construction equipment, was heading north on Walker Rd. when it tried to turn left onto Highway 3.

The truck ended up on its side in the north ditch. The driver was out of the vehicle when emergency crews arrived.

It was the second of two crash this morning, which forced major road closures.

Earlier, a multi-vehicle crash in Emeryville forced the closure of County Rd. 42 at West Puce Rd., but is has since reopened.

The collision happened just after 6am. No injuries were reported.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
