Green Party Candidate Isn't Campaigning

You won't be seeing Windsor West's candidate for the Green Party at your door, or any all-candidates debates this campaign.

Cora LaRussa's the candidate there and says she won't be attending events, campaigning or speaking with the media.

"I'm running as a Green Party candidate to give the opportunity to the people of Windsor West that are best represented by the Green Party to make a statement to our government about democracy. It's time for proportional representation," LaRussa wrote BlackburnNews.com in an email requesting an interview. "I want to ensure that every Canadians voice is heard in this election, and without a Green Party candidate, many would have no voice."

LaRussa is running against NDP incumbent Brian Masse, Henry Lau of the Conservative Party, and the Liberal Party's Dave Sundin.
