UPDATE: Passenger Ejected In EC Row Crash

One passenger was thrown from their vehicle and another driver had to be extracted following Tuesday night's serious crash on EC Row.

Windsor police say the multi-vehicle accident may have involved three vehicles on the Expressway at Walker Rd.

It's believed a white vehicle in the westbound passing lane merged into the curb lane and struck the grey Mazda. This impact is what police say may have caused the grey Mazda to lose control and cross the center median into oncoming traffic.

This is when an eastbound red Mazda was struck. A passenger of the grey vehicle was ejected, sustaining "very serious injuries." The driver was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The other motorist had to be extracted and suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

EC Row was completely closed in that area until the early morning hours of Wednesday as police investigated. It has since reopened.

Police are searching for the white vehicle that may have been involved in the crash. They say it could have damage on the right side.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
