Walkerville Block Party This Weekend

Food and artisan vendors, area restaurants, local wineries and craft brewers are coming together for two days of festivities in Olde Walkerville.

The Walkerville Block Party is a fundraiser for the United Way Windsor-Essex County's Emergency Assistance Fund. Organizers say 100% of the proceeds will go to help those in desperate need.

The party starts at 5pm Friday and goes until 1am. On Saturday, festivities run 1pm to 1am.

There will be live music both evenings including The Walkervilles and Juno Award winners The Bros. Landreth.

Argyle Rd. is closed north of Wyandotte St. E, and Brant St. is closed between Argyle and Devonshire Rd.
