Spits Edge Greyhounds In OT

The Windsor Spitfires pulled off a comeback Friday night to earn a 3-2 overtime victory over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

The Greyhounds held a 1-0 lead for the first two periods, but Windsor was able score two goals in the third over one from Sault Ste. Marie to force OT.

Mikhail Sergachev scored the game winning goal 28 seconds into overtime.

Anthony Stefano and Aaron Luchuk scored one goal each for Windsor.

The Spitfires are back on the ice on Thursday to take on the Saginaw Spirit at 7:05pm.
