Boil Water Advisory Rescinded

Residents along a stretch of Tecumseh Rd. E in Windsor can now stop boiling their water.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has rescinded the boil water advisory issued Friday for homes and businesses from 9225 to 11475 Tecumseh Rd. E.

A release from the health unit says officials have reviewed the water test results and are confident the water is now safe to drink.

It was the second advisory issued last week.

Residents on Boblo Island were also told to stop drinking their water for a few days because of bacteria.
