Update: Shooting Sends One To Hospital

Windsor police say the suspect in an early morning shooting outside a downtown nightclub targeted the victim.

Officers were dispatched around 1am Monday after a 30-year-old man was shot in the leg multiple times on Park St. W. between Ouellette Ave. and Pelissier St. He underwent surgery this morning for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the victim and the suspect know each other.

Police haven't identified the suspect but are viewing video surveillance in the area now. They ask anyone with information to call 519-255-6700 ext. 4830 or call Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS). Tips can also be submitted on Facebook and at www.catchcrooks.com.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
