Local Series Debuts Tonight

A locally produced show called "Cooked" will premiere at Lakeshore Cinemas tonight.

The 40-minute pilot and three 20-minute episodes will be shown in three sold out theaters beginning at 7pm.

Director and Producer Ian McLaughlin says the show is about a group of friends who work together at a pub.

"It started out as a drama with comedy elements, and I think it ended up as a comedy with drama elements."

McLaughlin says they have a team working on finding the series a distribution deal, possibly as a web series.

The show was filmed at several locations, including the Dominion House, Walkerville Brewery and the WFCU Centre.
