No Charges In Police Crash

No charges will be laid after a Windsor police cruiser was t-boned back in August.

The crash happened at the intersection of Ouellette Ave. and Giles Blvd.

After reviewing some video and interviewing witnesses, police say it's unclear if the blue truck went through a green or red light. Conflicting reports also made it difficult for officials to determine exactly what happened.

Police say the officer did have his lights and sirens on at the time.

Drivers are being reminded to be aware of their surroundings, especially when first responders are heading to an emergency.
