UPDATE: Teen Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash

A Windsor teen has been taken to hospital after a motorcycle collided with a dump truck in Tecumseh.

The Ontario Provincial Police says on Friday around 3:50pm, the 17-year-old male collided with the dump truck as it pulled out of a construction site just north of the intersection of Shawnee Rd. and Tecumseh Rd.

The teen was taken to hospital to be treated for life threatening injuries.  The driver of the dump truck was not injured.

Tecumseh Rd. between Shawnee Rd. and Lesperance Rd. was closed until around 11pm while police conducted an investigation. The road has since been reopened.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
