LaSalle Expecting Bigger Better Beer Fest

LaSalle's second annual Craft Beer Festival kicks off tonight.

Director of Culture and Recreation Terry Fink says it's going to feature 12 breweries, four of which are based in Windsor, as well as food and music.

"We've moved from sort of the big band sound to an acoustic sound," he explains. "The other aspect is that the LaSalle Business Association will be offering barbecued ribs and chicken."

Fink says there will also be wood oven pizzas and a food truck, as the town expects a crowd of 6,000 people over the weekend.

The festival costs $10 in advance or $15 per person at the gate, and parking at the Vollmer Complex is free.
