UPDATE: Two Teenagers Struck By Taxi

Police are investigating after two teenage girls were struck by a taxi in Windsor.

The Windsor Police Service says on Saturday around 4:30pm, the two teens were hit at the intersection of Oak St. and Wyandotte St. W.

Both girls have been taken to hospital and police say their injuries appear to be non-life threatening. One of them suffered head and back injuries during the collision and will be kept in hospital overnight for observation. The other is expected to be treated and released.

Police say no charges have been laid at this time, however, the investigation is ongoing.

Wyandotte St. W between Crawford Ave. and Wellington Ave. is now open after being closed for several hours as part of the investigation.
