Worker Found Dead In Truck

The Ministry of Labour is investigating the circumstances surrounding a worker who was found dead in their truck.

Police found the person unresponsive at around 2:30pm Tuesday in LaSalle, the ministry says. The person was transported to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

A ministry spokesperson says the person was found in a Tamar Building truck parked at the side of the road.

A cause of death hasn't been determined and a government inspector is heading to LaSalle to investigate.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
