UPDATE: Girl, 13, Hit By Vehicle (Gallery)

A 13-year-old girl has been rushed to a London hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Windsor.

Windsor police say she's suffered life-threatening injuries.

The intersection of Tecumseh Rd. W and Dougall Ave. has been reopened after being shut down since about 8am.

Melissa Langlois and a co-worker were stopped at the light when it happened.

"Just a little girl walking across the street and the car came out and hit her. He hit her by the side, and she fell over," says Langlois.

Langlois says the driver did not flee the scene.
